My first pre-sold tour stop was in San Francisco on Sunday night and it was amazing. I love the venue: the sound as wonderful: the audience was perfect: my trumpet player was great. There was so much love in the room. It was exactly what I needed. I get lost in the day to day business of my job and forget why it is I keep doing what I do. The logistics of my life are difficult and uncomfortable. Always leaving, always moving, always on the internet.
When I’m playing music everything else drops away and I feel whole. Thank you for helping me put on my shows. Your support inspires me to get better and better, to put on the best show possible, and to keep going.
Love,
K

While the SF show wasn’t sold out it was amazing. Anybody who missed it should be kicking themselves for the rest of the year. It was the best show I’ve seen all year and it’s raised the bar for the rest.
I was sad I couldn’t make the show, but I watched the stream as I was sitting at home doing homework! (Or, more accurately, listened to the stream, but still.)
Fion,
We feel your pain. I hope you enjoyed what you could catch.
A Sunday night meant it was never going to be a big crowd. I have to be in the office by 6:30am so I was expecting an early night (being Sunday, etc.) and the show would be over by 11:00pm at the latest. No, it went on for another hour. I’m only just getting back into my stride but it was well worth it.
I hope the other shows are streamed. I’d love to see any differences and how the audiences react.
